NCND | Question is on spring wheat where should a guy buy? I own some September. If we hit 585 on march I'll bear spread it perhaps just for a try. Won't be a long term trade just get a good day where that spread moves 10 cents.
I'm sure resort will cut spring wheat a lot. So do we buy u17 or z17? Or stand out in front of it and grab March and July? I have no new crop prices after rolling back to march now. Plenty old high quality 14 pro to sell. Been bullish but now that we got here I'm curious how this plays out. It is looking like buy the dips instead of sell the rips. The fact I own wheat on paper and in bin is a first in a long time.
I'm thinking 585 next on march then onto 6$ but I have a feeling we will see a pretty good setback after we hit one of those as that would get 5$ cash to many. Far cry from the 3.93 at harvest. From 585-6 then where? 640 area we hit in the great smoke out of 2015??
Either way I will be yanking my corn acres if we can get new crop up around 6-640 by planting. | |
