North Central Montana
I am not a miller, but was trying to play bid my basis with a local mill for may delivery and was told no bid. I pressed and was told end users were not contracting flour out that far. I am not sure this is normal, but suspect they are not afraid of having to pay more tomorrow. Maybe this is good and maybe this is bad? Thoughts?

I have followed a lot of the conversations in here for a long time and enjoy the ideas and discussions, even if corn and beans dominate I have learned a lot. Corn and beans here would be extreme fringe, but corn is gaining some acres and big shifts to pulse crops is occurring. Some to the point wheat is the rotation crop albeit wheat, fallow still dominates. North central Montana.
