| After 1 week, I am 112 kilos (which is 246 lbs). So I’ve lost some weight from the 115 (253) last week.
What went right?
- I took the 13 flights of stairs up and down 7 times over the 4 day work week, and got to the gym twice
- I eliminated sugar from my coffee. Next step is to eliminate the cream (or substitute 1% milk)
- I drank 5 glasses of water a day
- I only had coffee, water, and chocolate milk
What didn’t go right?
- I didn’t cut back on portion size consistently. My father in law made ribs Sunday night, and there was lots of family over, so it was “celebration themed eating”, and we had friends come over for tacos one night.
- I didn’t drink as much water as I should have
- I snacked a bit more then I wished
What were the challenges?
- I was fighting a cold for a while, so I was running low on energy and needed to eat some more or else I’d be taking Advil
What I learned?
- Only cut back 1-2 things at a time, and let that settle in. Too much change and it affects the body too much.
I’m pleased with my first week. I don’t expect such big losses every week, but I have the tools and knowledge to make it happen. | |
