Subject: RE: When to get out of July corn contracts

Northeast Iowa
The past 90 days have a range of something similar to 3.58 to 3.76

You bought near the lower end

I've been buying the July Contract near 3.60 and selling it at 3.72 over and over again.

I don't see much upside beyond that unless there is a weather scare. I wouldn't be holding out to make .30 cents

(However, last August, the July 2017 Contract was in the 3.40s when USDA said expected yield was 175 AND we had a huge amount of carry....if we get into May with good conditions, I wouldn't want to hold a July Contract worth 3.60)
