Illinois | The numbers I use reflect current fall cash bids. The corn is at our local elevator in Danvers. The bean bid is at Cargill in Bloomington.
There are probably better bids but it's not practical to haul that far during the heat of harvest.
Our basis tends to firm up after harvest. Now it's only a few under at Cargill and the same at corn processors. AgRail in Bloomington( our closest non elevator outlet) only takes corn but is around -10. | |
