| Conan the Farmer - 1/5/2017 22:55 The age thing makes it difficult, so at least this year, I think I was Iowa's worst! I sold 4,000 or so bushels of Corn for $2.43. It was late September across the scale sale. The actual cash price was $2.65, I was 19.2% or so, so $2.43. I did it to pay combine pre season repairs and fuel. Just closed my eyes and didn't think about it. Needed some cash. Most of the rest of our corn was over $3.00, but I hope that is the worst I ever sell! Anyone in Iowa that sold lower? I bet I was among the worst in the state!
Too bad you weren't around to experience 40 cent LDPs........ |
