NE Iowa | Been using some covers for about 6-7 years now. Most years plant green and spray pre / burndown off the back of both my planter and drill. Seem to get a good kill of the cover and have good luck with pre as long as it rains within a week to 10 days. If it stays dry the pre is tied up on the residue. If you spray pre on bare ground and it doesn't rain it doesn't work well either. Every year I lose faith that the pre will work through all the trash but any misses are a complete jungle so it must be working. | |
