A patent is only as good as you are willing to spend money on a lawyer to protect it.




+1, an Inventor friend patented one invention, but said unless you have unlimited money to hire lawyers to defend your patent, It's not worth the paper it is printed on.
As this fellow told me, a patent only gives you the right to defend your idea, the patent office will not help you one bit. If you lack the money to fight years long court battles, your patent is worthless.
