Franklinton, LA | I know this is the Christmas Season and I hate to bear bad news. First, please keep in mind that most patents are issued for psychological reasons rather than economic reasons. Second, If you get a patent, sell it to someone as soon as possible, take the money and run. If you don't want to sell the patent, you will need at least $50,000 to $100,000 in "throw down" money for legal fees to defend your patent. I would not spend money on a patent if I could not sell or defend it.
