I got tired of keeping books based upon my memory of what happened in the past. Since 1997 I've used QuickBooks Pro. If you can write a check you can use QB. Except for reconciling your checkbook once a month everything is done as you write a check and post the amounts to various accounts. Automatic recall of the last check to a particular vendor makes it easy to breakdown a new check into multiple accounts. PC Mars probably has the same capabilities. You just need to force yourself to use it. |
