ECMS | I'm from the general area. It's heavy clay dirt. Can raise decent crops on it but it's a challenge to farm. Too wet to plant one day hard as a brick the next. The ground most of the new factories are on was partly farmland and partly wooded grown up scrub sort of ground. As far as good for the area I'd say that it was overall. The challenge of farming this dirt keeps it from being worth the high prices of the Midwest. | |
