North Central Illinois | Like Nelson said it is all about the fine print in your policy. If you don't understand it have your agent explain it or hire an attorney to do so. Most likely they have an exclusion or cap built into the policy regarding air ambulance transportation or any form of transportation. If it is spelled out somewhere in the policy that they don't pay for that they aren't going to be nice guys and go ahead and pay it anyway since a lot of other policies do pay. I am sorry you are faced with this. That sucks. The best I know is to try to negotiate with the air ambulance company and see if you can get it reduced. If you have significant assets they likely won't knock it down very much. Best of luck to you. | |
