I think roundsquare was maybe referring to carbon MONoxide poisoning. It would come from the fuel being burnt in the unvented heater. When used in relatively drafty livestock buildings, it can't build up enough to hurt. But in a fairly well sealed-up shop, it can be bad.
Which heater do I want? Reznor or LB White
