We have a knock-off of an LB White in a small shop that we no longer use very often. It does tend to give people headaches, and it keeps everything moist and causes rust on tools and equipment. I would recommend a vented heater. If it is going to be there long term, the cost of new makes more sense than taking chances with health and property on used.
Which heater do I want? Reznor or LB White
