| "Here" it seems to pay, either that or I'm just bad at math.
I wean for 60 days also and my calves get vaccinated 3 separate times. The first is in the early summer for blackleg/tetanus, then twice in the fall which includes the live-modified vaccines (which actually tend to make them sick). "Here" the difference is that if you have your vet to give them the last two vaccines and you get a State-issued certificate and special ear tags for doing it and then the cattle buyers actually TRUST you and cover that cost with the sale price. Well, maybe not trust you, but they can verify w/ a third pary :). I understand that the options I have "here" are not everywhere, though. | |
