And that $1700 is not all profit, my uncle's family (by marriage) used to have a Christmas tree farm. I remember it kept 2 of my cousins pretty busy but after years of doing it they got out said it just wasn't worth it anymore. At one time there were 4-5 Christmas tree farms around now there's only one so that should tell you something.
