We just finished a remodel/add on a year ago. We have had electric since we were married (33 years). She grew up with a gas stove and has always wanted a gas stove so with the remodel it was pretty much mandatory. We put in a LP cook top and an electric wall oven. She loves the gas cook top. I'm not quite as enthusiastic but I'm getting use to it.
