north central Iowa, Hampton | My mom's in an "independent living" complex. It's part of the nursing home. According to her, after your 3rd fire in the independent complex, you have to move to the "assisted living" where you don't have a stove anymore.
Most--all?-- of the "fires" are really just the smoke detector going off when someone leaves a pot too long on the stove. I just had to smile--there's rules everywhere! |
