Then you have the set of people (majority of farmers) who have no high level analysis on an annual basis. What % of farms have testing going on with enough replications and site years to have confidence in the outcome? Most farmers don't say X practice didn't work because across multiple sites and multiple site years the probability of an increase in net cash flow was too low. Most farmers say my neighbor tried it one time and I heard that his field was 100 bu less that year and he never did it again so I sure am not going to try it.
