Talk to farmers that are in their 70's and beyond about getting through the late 70's and early 80's. It was much more threatening than now in that your interest rate could go up 3-4x without warning.
Even those of us not directly farming have years we fail and years we succeed. Experience will teach you that the good years will not last and neither will the bad ones.
