Your right on both counts(1) I imagine no combine is ever truly fixed.........But the wobble box/cutter bar drive was kind of a major halt in the proceedings----robbed us of 2-1/2 good days of cutting-----You know, the difference between getting done in good shape, or not.
THAT's Fixed. (not a lot of spare heads that'll go on the JD contour master sitting around to go beg,buy, borrow, or steal, either.)
That brings us to (2) The WEATHER down here by the equator:
What can I expect for '07????? a) '05- where you could start cutting around the 10 of July, around 10:00am every morning, and cut every nite till at least 10:00pm, or later, if you wanted to, up until 29 of Aug. and never have a drop of rain hit the grain, or have 1 kernal go out of condition?
or b) This years model where you don't know if it's gonna quit raining long enough to cut ANY grain, and you know there's gonna be quality discount, you just don't know how bad it's gonna get~(?!?!
How many acres you putting out this year Flatlander? Maybe you can get Jay to air seed it for you, if you can't get thru the wet dust~>*(!!?
