Old bin guy told me to "Move it where you want it to go".
I have a flexible tube hanging down from the auger spout. On mine, if the east side is filling faster, I move the flexible tube to the west. Sometimes takes a couple tweaks to get it right, depending on how fast the dryer is putting it out.
I've never tilted mine one way or the other.
