Our combine runs whatever speed is 100% capacity, cart matches it. That's how we do it. It may be 5mph then 2mph in weeds or down crop and then he better be ready to roll when the going is good. I will increase speed slowly enough to let the cart driver up shift if necessary. Occasionally, son and I will even back up on the ends if I'm not finished dumping and he need's to move to let me by. |
