Rivers, MB | Do you differentiate between farm auctions and consignment auctions? I would agree that using dealer list price is not realistic. But have seen large differences in auction value depending on whether its at a consignment sale or farm sale. Farm sales seem to usually be higher values as their is a known history with the equipment. Consignment auctions seem to go "cheap" because you don't know what you are buying often. maybe the difference isn't big enough to worry about though. | |
