| Don't know for sure about this week but just in general I think we may have put in a major low. What are the chances of 5 record corn crops in a row? Of course then again 4 in a row wasn't very likely either....Ag commodity cycles average about 4-6 years from high to low, and of course the high was in 2012, exactly four years ago. It will create many arguments but in my opinion cycles are part technical, part fundamental. The weather plays a big factor and is always changing: we went from 3 tough years in a row 10,11,12 to 4 big crops in a row 13-16 so we are due for some tough years again very soon. Supplies are big but demand is high, throw in a supply hiccup and off we go again. | |
