Subject: RE: Demand seems fine - low prices help that

Not sure if aliens have taken over the bodies of everyone in media, but it seems they all get on the same rant and see who can rant the most. Occasionally there is a contrarian but typically some black suv's show up or a ufo is sighted and they fall in line. From politics to weather they all say the same thing over and over and try to top each other (shep smith isn't going to cover funerals for hurricane deaths - as if that matters somehow). So, down here in ag land we get analysts watching each other and then ramping up the rhetoric as if we've never had low prices.

The reality is we will have low prices for a while. Fundamentals win out in the end - we have grown lots of grain, and, as always, we have found a way to outproduce even very strong demand (always happens, always will - it's a commodity produced by lots of independent producers). My advice is to do your best not sell for $1.75 unless you grow 350 bpa corn then have at it and to tune out the media noise - it's not news or information, just entertainment. We will get through this as our costs of production decrease - low demand for inputs does put pressure on those prices also.
