Eastern Kansas | If you want to keep good relations with the cattle operator I would under stock first then increase it as necessary. Mostly trial and error. Maybe try one / every acre of brush to start. Very hard management trick because of inconsistent rainfall and inability to buy good producing goats when you need to up the stocking rate to manage brush and weeds in a wet year. I run goats with several other peoples cows and my own.
Worming, worm when they need it. Could be 6 times a year depending on rainfall and resistance to worms in the goats you use but if you worm that often it is probably not worth the effort of running goats. Get rid of or let nature take care of the wormy ones.
Coyotes can wipe out your kid crop. You will want several lgd's if you plan on kidding in pasture. Best to kid in smaller area that the dogs can protect better than let the does range and drop kids wherever they please.
