2388 here, don't remember any special tools, a breaking bar and a gear wrench. Must not have been that memorable of a job as I can't remember when I did it, but crawling into work on stationary knives I did it something. The stationary ones are a different story, bolting them back in place every year is getting old(the little bolts break). Welded one side this year, will see if it works.
