I also wouldn't be crazy about it in 15" rows for grain, not that it can't work I suppose. We drill it in 7.5" rows, at least 75-80 lbs/a, would prefer 100. It tillers profusely and I personally like the lower rates to make bigger plants that MIGHT stand better. We seed like wheat at 3/4-1" deep. If notilling I may use roundup before planting to kill weeds like chickweed, etc. Usually don't need a spray pass in spring if it's thick enough.
