Subject: Planting cereal rye for seed

NW IL, Mercer County
Any tips for growing cereal rye for seed? More specifically on the planting portion of it? Seeding rate, depth, etc.... I want to grow a small acreage to try for my own seed usage for next year. I will be planting with a 15" White planter, and hope to have some in by the weekend.
