People are willing to pay you double to produce what they want to eat not whats easiest for you to produce and ADM to ship and P&G process. If farmers were in any other industry they would have all been usurped by more progressive players and they would be the ones in the soup line but the barriers of entry are simply too high in this industry.

And I'm on your side. I eat GMO's everyday - they're safe. Most of the people I know who shop at Whole Foods and pick out organics don't believe the anti-GMO rhetoric they simply find a great deal of value in having choice.
