The save the pigs videos I have seen is horrible ------------seems to be a bunch of them close to the JBS plant up here as well. From what it appears listening to some they have the accent like they have come out of Canada .
As far as getting tired of it get used to the movement its gathering speed and will until food gets tight and then it will change. There is some decent science behind the plant protein only people eliminating the animal protein crowd but thats where it ends.
The Anita krajnc (save the pigs) trial involving interfering with Van Boekel hog truck trial is taking place today and tomorrow in toronto. She is some europeon university professor. A couple of yrs. ago at the little plant we ship too there was 2 local 16 yr. old girls holding up signs at plant entrance "save the pigs".....they seldom seen a truck as by the time they got up most pigs were delivered....Chris ,visited Whole Foods in Columbus ,Oh and they do have nice store,food and a great marketing plan too sell stuff at a premium ,people shopping there were not your typical Family feeding a bunch of kids........my MIL like other older ladies goes too Dr. for meds if she coughs and then says she only buys anti biotic free meat,,ever try to explain that all meat is tested and anti biotic free (and she lived/farmed her whole life)........try telling A & W that there is more hormones (3,000x) in birth control pill than in a burger from an implanted steer |
