Tried some once, vacuum sealed it. Tasted like an old green corn cob. It must have something to do with the way the kernels freeze on the cob. It must draw the cob flavor out of the cob and into the kernels. Now we just cut it off and put it in freezer bags and throw it in the freezer. Cook it a bit when we are ready to eat it. Stays good all winter that way.
