| I've lost my start menu on my windows 10 desktop and am hoping someone may know how to get it back. I started it up one day and found the start menu was smaller with no apps to go anywhere, no files no internet. My shut down tab has moved into this smaller start area. A day later when I turn the machine on I still use my password to enter but then it takes a while to turn on. Says preparing. Then it looks a bit different and a pop up says something about a temporary screen and I can't save files?? This is were I shut it off, go to my XP machine, google and try a fix from microsoft. Said to type in ms-settings but when I did that I got the settings page with nothing on it, just white blank. Thanks. | |
