SW Iowa | Had this trouble until I talked to a JD baler guru. Where the pan bolts under the spiral roller, there's a slotted adjustment on each side. Push it up as tight as you can against the baler. I've run 4-500 since with no troubles.
Also check your belt splices. Any small tear or pin sticking out can tear the wrap.
Have you checked or cleaned the netwrap brush? Depending on how many bales or down time between baling jobs, dirty conditions, moisture, and/or a worn brush will cause wrap trouble. It's a often an over looked area.
Neighbors use a Vermeer M and a newer New Holand, they have more trouble with 8-12" of missing wrap then my Deere. | |
