Please explain how it pays 50000 for a 1086, etc. Is that how much the govt will pay you to decommission a tractor in Texas? I suppose the "wiz" kids that thought up that program are the same ones that don't have a clue how many units of energy are saved when an existing vehicle is re-used rather than mining new ore and building a completely new vehicle that burns more gallons of fuel and lasts half as long.
And this. The manufacturing process might mitigate all emission advantages of a new tier 4 tractor. |
