Just wondering why the govt would pay twice what a good 1086 is worth for one or is it in the form of a rebate that is tied to the manufacturers list price of a new tractor? Meanwhile, I wonder how many tons of particulates are released every year by California's abysmal failure to address the wildfire epidemic.
About wildfires, I think I remeber that just the Malibu fires in the summer of 2007, which wasn't a big fire, emitted more NOx and CO than 7 years of ALL Diesel engines running in CA at the time. The engines are now cleaner than 2007. The fires are bigger than Malibu. |
