NW Ohio | I have never noticed a difference in thumb drives from manufacturer to another. I do know, the FMX doesn't work well with anything larger than 8GB.
Agreed on using the same version from start to finish. I also do not recommend getting the latest update until it has be "proven" in the field. 9.25 has been a very stable version on the drainage side. We don't use the field IQ so someone else would have to speak on its reliability there. That is the only thing I hate about the updates. Sometimes, when Trimble fixes problems in one area of the version, it has negative affects in another.
I'm not sure if "fooling" the system by benching 7' off will work or not. | |
