Not sure I really agree with that. I just bought some bagged protein in town just yesterday for my sons small hog operation. Comes up to roughly $20 a bushel for the beans minus bagging, processing and trucking costs.

Don't get me wrong, that isn't a huge margin, but if guys could cut protein source costs 30-40% they sure will. I will...... Cattle sure come to mind as well, as drying distillers and exporting has made wet mash not as attractive as it used to be.
