| Banking regulations have changes a lot since 9/11 and the housing debacle in 2008. More government regulations on them to do business .
Talked to the bank about getting a small car loan for my Daughters first car to help her establish credit and learn to manage her money. So many hoops to jump through and hurdles it is almost not worth it. When I got my first loan in 1982, signed one paper and made my payments.
