Southern Lower Michigan | You have to drain the rear end; unpin and remove the swing drawbar. There is a plate under the backend that comes off. this is where you remove, and insert the gears. The center link cap comes off ( where you pull the drive shaft, to replace the top gearset. And I believe that you have to pull the pto shaft housing.
There is a parts diagram at" Messick's" Tractor site.
Not really a hard Job. pretty straight forward. I paid $550 for the parts 9 years ago.
