As previous, here's what we do:
1. Remove swing hopper
2. Remove lower bearing and plan to replace
3. Remove lower boot.
4. Slide flighting out.
5. Remove top bearing and cap
6. Slide flighting out
7. Repair flighting, replace bolts. Use 271 loctite and nylock nuts
8. Check all other bolts
9. Reassemble. ( we usually slide the complete flighting up the auger and reassemble lower boot then finally the upper bearing and cap.

Always replace the lower bearing. Check the swing hopper drive bearing as it is easier to change now.
