North West Wisconsin | The ones I done, I spilt them at the joint they was broke at. I figured out where it was by tapping on the tube. The grain will be packed very hard at that point. They always bust the bottom bearing when this happens. The auger flighting has to be in time when you put it back together again. Not the hardest job but not the funnest ether. Just got make sure you have everything supported so you don't get hurt. Fixing one this time of year would be a treat compared to doing this in the winter with below zero temperature and the corn froze in the tube.
