I'm in a conventional tillage scenario where I work in dry fertilizer and nitrogen ahead of the planter, then either sidedress or fly on the balance of my N late season with a plane.
Like you said, many different ways to do it. If you go the liquid route, you may consider adding ATS (Ammonium Thio Sulfate) to your mixe of liquid N. It gives you likely needed Sulfur (Sulfate form) as well as stable Ammonium Nitrogen. I use a similar product with my dry fertilizer N. |
