If you're potash levels are good we run a two buy two of 10 gallons of 8-18-5 and twenty gallons 28% mixed together throw in a quart of zinc per acre in the mix. And then sidedress the rest of the n later in the season. This year we tried a different program of starter and 28 with the planter and sidedressing another 30 gallons of 28 at knee high corn then when corn is waist high or a little taller came back in with super u with highboy applicator. Now that it hasn't rain forever it probably won't be a fair test but we will see this fall. It is 2 extra trips but last year it paid in the fields we did this way. The main ingredient is Mother Nature on our side and so far she isn't working with us
