Mid-Missouri | I have a Stihl trimmer that the clutch isn't working properly. Centrifugal force should throw the two clutches out, engaging the cutting head at a certain rpm. The problem is the clutch stays engaged, even when starting the trimmer. I took the clutch apart and the only way to get the clutches to retract is if the pivot bolt is loosened that holds them on. I lubed everything and it is no better. The spring is still there as well.
I have read these are warrantied for life for the original owner. Any truth?
Thanks
