You will need a globe and a monitor. 2600, 2630 is better. Globe I'd get a 3000, it gets better reception. Your combine is auto steer ready, tractor might not be?
My wild guess is it can cost between $12,000 to $25,000 depending on what you all get.
John Deere has a lot to sell, with consistent support.
My 2630 and 3000 globe went on our 8300 to now a 8260R no problem to run our planter 1770. In the fall I move it to our 9670.
Activations we have are auto steer SF1, auto shutoffs for the planter and row sense for our corn head. All are a one time fee no annual subscriptions.
We bought ours when I was 54, I'm no master for sure but with help from neighbors and our dealer it's been fine. Spring and fall my dealer looks at my set up to make sure everything is setup right. I download to a thumb drive, he looks it over and sets it up for my combine. Couple days later I pick it up and download it myself. Any questions, he can answer fix over the phone.
Good luck, jump in you will enioy the technology especially on the planter!!
