Wisconsin | My wife just picked this rain guage up from Walmart the other day. Last night we had some storms roll through and I was checking the guage at 1am half sleeping trying to decide if I need to shut the pivots off. I'm looking at this thing trying to read it thinking I'm just not awake yet.
I have never seen a rain guage that doesn't have a hash mark for every tenth of an inch. This Walmart gem reads by eighths of an inch. Have I been living under a rock? Do some rain guages read like this?
