ncia | In my part of north iowa, it seems (at this time, so far) almost everyone has done a good job of taking on waterhemp. Lots of choices for pre's that were used. One local coop sold a lot of ledger (dual and sencor) that looks to have done a stellar job. I post spray for a neighbor that applied ledger and it definitely was a good move for him. I've always used some treflan and it did ok and have had great luck past 2 years with authority assist, but still worry about seedling damamge even tho I haven had any. I'm reluctant to "put all my eggs in one basket".
A few more cultivators coming out all the time.
When Monsanto came out with rup corn and the half rate of harness premerge idea, I don't think that helped anyone. (even Monsanto). On corn a full rate of any harness type product is a good start, too.
The next 4 weeks will be the test.
