Central Missouri | We have had roundup and 24d resistance since 2012. And the 24d was in the first application!!! Welcome to the club.
Kind of makes you wonder how much "value" enlist beans will have and how long Xtend beans will last before they are resistant as 24d and dicamba are sister herbicides.
Then you think about having a waterhemp that is resistant to:
Glyphosate
24d
Als
Atrazine
PPO's/difenal eithers
So if/when dicamba becomes resistant then does status go bye bye, too??? Then what do we do in corn?
And there is know resistance to hppd's. So how soon before we have REAL issues???
Not saying that I am 100% right on all of this because it is different in different areas. But something to consider. | |
